At Maryland Fossil Finders (MFF), we believe in the power of collaboration and the strength of our community. That’s why we’re excited to announce that we’re looking for Strategic Partnership Managers to join our team! This role is crucial in helping us build and nurture partnerships that support our mission of making fossil hunting accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Why We Need You
Our mission at MFF is to share the thrill of fossil hunting with people from all walks of life while promoting conservation and inclusivity. We know that achieving this mission requires strong, strategic relationships with our partners—people who believe in our cause and want to see it thrive.
As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will play a key role in building and managing these relationships. Your work will ensure that we continue to provide exceptional experiences and expand our reach. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with individuals and organizations who share our passion for fossils and our commitment to making a difference.
What You’ll Do
- Build and Nurture Partnerships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our partners, ensuring they feel valued and engaged with our mission.
- Create and Implement Strategies: Design and execute strategies to attract and retain new partners while growing existing relationships.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with our team to align partnership strategies with our organizational goals and initiatives.
- Report and Evaluate: Monitor the success of partnership activities and provide regular updates and reports to our leadership team.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking people who are passionate about our mission and have a proven track record in managing relationships and building partnerships. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of nonprofit organizations.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience in Partnership Management: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective strategies for partnership growth and engagement.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
