Why We’re Offering This Kit

We are providing these free kits as a temporary measure while we work toward our larger goal of improving accessibility. Our long-term plan includes acquiring specialized equipment such as beach wheelchairs and transportation solutions to help low-income students and individuals with mobility challenges participate fully in fossil hunting experiences.

Do I qualify?

Before requesting a free Fossil Discovery Kit, it’s important to determine if you meet our criteria for low-income or low-mobility assistance. We are dedicated to making fossil hunting accessible to everyone, and we encourage you to review the guidelines below to see if you qualify:

Low-Income Criteria:
If your household income falls within our guidelines for low-income status, you may be eligible to receive a free Fossil Discovery Kit. Learn more about our low-income criteria here.

Low-Mobility Criteria:
If you or a family member has limited mobility, you may qualify for a free Fossil Discovery Kit designed to accommodate your needs. Find out if you qualify as low-mobility here.
